Under our Community Head Coach Mark Nisbet, our highly qualified team of coaches deliver a vast array of programs and activities to encourage children of all ages and abilities to participate in football and other sports.
We are passionate about getting young people involved in sports, and, of course, football in particular. We believe that through participation, young people in our community can meet new friends, stay connected to their community, and improve both their physical and emotional wellbeing.
We offer weekend fun sessions, development sessions, advanced sessions, girls-only sessions, specialised goal-keeping sessions, Mini Magpies Sessions, and school holiday camps.
We also run footballing activities for other groups, including walking football and autism-friendly coaching, ensuring that as a Club we make the sport as inclusive and accessible as we can.

HOLIDAY CAMPS
Every school holiday we run football and multi-sports holiday camps at four separate locations across the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead:

Our holiday camps offer a fun, flexible childcare solution, offering children aged 4-13 safe, fun, and active school holidays!
Camps can be booked for single days and full week Each camp day runs between 10am and 3pm with early drop off available from 9am for an additional charge.
All activities will be delivered by qualified football and multi-sports coaches. Our objective is to enable the children to learn a new skill or enhance their current skills whilst putting these skills into practice during fun games, competitions, and matches.
Lunchtime in the middle of the day between 12pm-1pm where the children will head inside to rest, enjoy their own packed lunch and have fun with new friends.

Maidenhead United in the Community’s Saturday & Sunday Morning Football Clubs offers boys and girls aged 4 to 10 the opportunity to develop their football skills in a safe, fun, and sociable environment.
Run by FA-qualified football coaches, sessions focus on the development of individual ball skills such as shooting, passing, dribbling, and control. Each session is aimed towards coaching good technique while helping children meet new friends and, most importantly, have lots of fun whilst playing football.
We run Saturday Morning Clubs at two locations in Maidenhead – the Cage at Maidenhead United’s York Road ground and at Courthouse School including:
3-4 year olds - Saturdays 8.30am-9.30am at the Cage, Maidenhead United FC, York Road, Maidenhead SL6 1SF.
5-6 year olds - Saturdays 9.30am-10.30am at the Cage, Maidenhead United FC, York Road, Maidenhead SL6 1SF.

DEVELOPMENT CENTRES
Our football development centres are open to boys & girls aged 5-12 years.
The aims of our football development sessions are to:
Give a fun and positive experience of football.
Focus on having fun, whilst aiming to help players to improve their football skills and technique.
Promote the principles clause of Respect, Fair Play, Discipline, and Equality.
Encourage team play.
All sessions will be delivered by FA-qualified football coaches with the goal of the long-term development of the children.

Our advanced centres are sessions for those excelling in the development centres and are ready to progress to the next stage of their development.
Advanced sessions will be more focussed and dedicated to providing young footballers with advanced training to help them develop at a faster rate than similar ability children.
All sessions will be delivered by FA-qualified football coaches with the goal of the long-term development of the children.

GOALKEEPER COACHING
GOALKEPER COACHING

Our goalkeeper program is for 6 to 16 years old and provides specialist coaching for young goalkeepers wishing to develop both their technical capabilities and game understanding.
The goalkeeper position is such a key role within football and young goalkeepers deserve specialist coaching, which enables them to develop their skills and take their game to the next level.
Sessions are delivered in small groups and are aimed at developing a range of goalkeeping skills including diving saves, ball handling, crosses, one-on-ones, footwork and ball distribution.
The goalkeeper program currently operates two different age groups:
Mondays 5.50pm - 6.50pm for year 7 – 11 (At Braywick Park Astroturf Pitches)
Thursdays 5.00pm - 6.00pm for School Years 3-6 (At Maidenhead United Football Club)

GIRLS ONLY COACHING
We are passionate about providing opportunities for girls to play and enjoy football and offer several girls only fun football and football development opportunities.
A place where girls can come and develop their football skills without the boys getting in the way!
Every Sunday we run a girls only Sunday morning club in Dedworth:

We also have two Girls Development Centre age groups in Maidenhead every Tuesday evening:

MINI MAGPIES
Mini Magpies is a fun introduction to sports for children aged 1.5 years to 3.5 years.
Run by qualified football coaches, each session provides 45 minutes of football skills combined with multi-skills activities and fun games. Our sessions are designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment, which encourages the children to take part and enjoy themselves.
The coach-to-child ratio will be kept to a maximum of 1:10 ratio to maximise individual attention, participation, and development.
Our sessions are tailored to meet the specific needs of the different age groups; however, our core focus is to enable the children to develop their core motor skills including agility, balance, and coordination as well as encourage social interaction and teamwork.
The Mini Magpies programme runs on Friday mornings during school term times and operates over two different age groups:
10.15am - 11.00am for 1.5 –2.5 year olds (parent participation is required)
11.15am - 12.00pm for 2.5-3.5 year olds

ADULT FITNESS SESSIONS
Our FREE weekly adult fitness session is held on our covered 3G AstroTurf at York Road. The session is fun, friendly and is suitable for all abilities with a focus on building confidence to help individuals take part in wider activities to enhance their physical and mental wellbeing.

WALKING FOOTBALL
Walking Football is a slower version of the popular sport and is perfect for anyone who wants to play football for longer, make new friends, and stay active. With no running, jogging, or physical contact, it’s a fun and safe way for individuals to enjoy football for longer.
Maidenhead United’s Walking Football Club is affiliated with the Berks and Bucks FA. It runs separate sessions for both men and women using the pitches at Braywick Leisure Centre and Maidenhead United 5 a-side cage pitch at our York Road ground.
Our sessions are aimed at adults focusing on moving and passing playing at a walking pace, with the ball below head height with minimal contact walking football. Our aim is to provide a fun and safe walking football experience for players of all abilities and fitness levels to enjoy.
Most members come just to enjoy the sessions but for those wanting a little more, the Club has teams participating in the Thames Valley Leagues. In addition, we participate in tournaments, friendlies, and festivals throughout the year.
The Club is creating regular social events in addition to Tuesday post-session tea/coffee chats. These events may include meals, evening concerts, quizzes competitions, etc.

AUTISM FRIENDLY FOOTBALL
Maidenhead United FC is committed to creating sporting opportunities for everyone with additional needs and disabilities.
With the support of the Maidenhead-based charity, Stand Out For Autism, we have developed an autism-friendly Sunday morning football club.
The club is available to anyone with autism or any siblings and friends that would like to join in. Sessions are designed to ensure a safe and supported environment for children with Autism to enjoy and play football and develop their skills.
We run a session every Sunday during school term time:

PAN DISABILITY FOOTBALL
Maidenhead United in the Community runs PAN Disability Football every week during school term times in the Cage at our York Road Ground.
These sessions will be run by coaches with experience in Disability Football, with the objective of enabling participants to enjoy a variety of different football games/drills to have fun and learn different football skills in a fun and safe environment.
All disabilities and ages are welcome. Sessions are:

Celebrate your Child's birthday with an action-packed, fun-filled birthday party on our covered 3G Astroturf 5- a-side pitch at Maidenhead United FC.
We offer two party packages, which can be tailored to your needs in discussion with us. All our birthday parties are hosted by an FA-qualified football coach.
Match Day Gold Birthday Parties
Available for the home fixtures of both our men’s and women’s first teams and incorporating:
Fun Football or Coaching in the Cage - 1:30pm - 2:45pm.
