WHY OUR PARTNERS PARTNER WITH US
Discover why our Partners chose to support Maidenhead United by reading their stories below. Each testimonial sheds light on the shared values, goals, and community impact that unite us in partnership. Together, we are UNITED AS ONE.
CALM Partners
At Christopher Ward, community has always been central to what we do and for many years we have given 2% of revenue to charitable causes. Through this collaboration, we hope to strengthen our ties with the club and their ever growing local community. The CALM partnership really aligned with our company's continued efforts in supporting mental health and well-being and the opportunity to have an impact on those closest to the business (we're quite literally neighbours!) was too important to pass up.
The Maidenhead Advertiser and Maidenhead United Football Club have been at the heart of the community since the late 1800’s through to the present day. It is our respective roles in the community that make our partnership such a natural and mutually beneficial one. Having the community at our heart is why it was easy to support MUFC with its Campaign Against Living Miserably as well as the many other community support initiatives.
At Off The Tap, we’re excited to join forces with CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) and Maidenhead United because, let’s face it, mental health is no joke - but we can make talking about it a lot less awkward! We’re all about breaking the stigma and getting people to open up, whether over a pint or at the match. Through fun events, exciting campaigns, and a dash of good humour, we’re here to support our community and remind everyone that it’s okay to not be okay. So, let’s raise a glass (and our voices) for mental health - because together, we can make a difference!
The Shanly Foundation has supported Maidenhead United over many years on ad-hoc events and projects. When the opportunity to support the club’s partnership with CALM came up, we were proud to join other local businesses in uniting against suicide. Maidenhead United is a cornerstone of the community, bringing people together through their love of sport, and it is an excellent platform to promote the amazing work of CALM. The Shanly Foundation is the charitable arm of the Shanly Group of companies.
Sport has a big role to play in the community, not just in bringing people together but in the positive benefits it can have on both physical and mental health. Recognition of these shared beliefs – alongside a love of football – was what led to the connection between the Club and Wilson Partners. Maidenhead is where is all started for us and with the firm and the club sharing a passion for improving the lives of those in the local community, the relationship has developed and strengthened over a number of years. Because of this shared focus and values, Wilson Partners is Maidenhead United FC’s Accountancy Partner and supports a number of the Club’s community efforts.
Wilson Partners is one of the fastest growing accounting firms in the South of England, employing over 300 staff across multiple locations. We are a champion of SME businesses and exist to help those businesses and their stakeholders make better business decisions.
HUB and Smedvig have been working together on the One Maidenhead masterplan over many years, transforming this town centre site to create high quality and sustainable homes, public realm and office space. We have completed Phase 1, delivering 429 homes to rent and a new public square, and we’re now on site with our highly sustainable timber-framed office building, Trehus.
We have been working with the community throughout our time in Maidenhead, ensuring that we deliver what the town needs, and supporting local charities and organisations during the construction of our projects.
MUFC is a core part of the local community so we have been proud to support the club with its groundbreaking CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) initiative for three years running. Mental health is an important topic and using football as a platform for raising awareness is a great idea. Thank you to MUFC for welcoming us to your town, for making this happen, and for inviting us to take part.

Maidenhead is where our journey began. It was here that the idea for Cluberly first took shape, born from a simple conversation about how hard it is for grassroots clubs to raise money, and how little they often get back for all their effort. We knew there had to be a better way. Cluberly exists to change that.
Supporting Maidenhead United FC is natural for us. This is a club that reflects the determination, pride and community spirit that inspired us. We are beyond grateful to be sponsors of a club so dear to our company’s roots.
Equity is proud to continue its partnership with Maidenhead United. Over the years, we’ve worked together on multiple initiatives, ranging from sponsoring youth teams, through kit and event support, to creating a free community hotline during the pandemic to support vulnerable residents.
Our commitment to local roots, integrity, and a family ethos aligns perfectly with Maidenhead United’s values. The club’s positive impact on the community and its welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere makes us genuinely proud to stand alongside them.
As a local tech partner to a diverse range of organisations in the Thames Valley and Home Counties, our aim is to help local enterprises overcome their IT challenges, so they can grow, be more efficient and be secure. Whether it’s changing outdated technology, adjusting to a new system, or seeking to improve security, or understand the power of AI, our solutions and support services are designed to meet their needs.
We wish Maidenhead United every success both on and off the pitch for the 2025/ 26 season!

As a local independent funeral director, it’s important to us at AB Walker to be engaged with our community so that when people need our services, we are a familiar, supportive part of life. In Maidenhead United FC we saw an organisation that shares our approach to being at the heart of the community. We are proud to have the opportunity to work in a partnership that brings people together and supports the Maidenhead community. We look forward to continuing to develop this partnership.

At Green Swing, we believe sport has the power to bring people together - whether it’s on the football pitch, the golf course, or in the wider community. That’s why we are proud to support Maidenhead United Football Club.
With our head office just next to York Road, our office has always felt part of the club’s heartbeat. We first linked up with the club in the summer of 2025, supporting them with their golf fundraiser. Through that collaboration, we learned more about the club’s partnership with CALM and the role they play in the local community.
Maidenhead United is starting conversations that matter, and we are honoured to play a small role in supporting that mission.
At Green Swing, we see golf as another space where these conversations can happen. A round of golf offers time, connection, and the chance to check in with those around you. By backing Maidenhead United, we hope to extend that spirit across both sports - building community, awareness, and shared purpose.
We are proud to be part of the Maidenhead community, proud to support our local club, and proud to stand together as United as One.
As a local, high-street business, we value our relationships with businesses and organisations in Maidenhead. Together, we can help our local community thrive. So, when we approached Maidenhead United about our idea for a Boot Exchange, to recycle and reuse football boots and help children in the area keep playing the sport they love, they were all for it!
The cost-of-living crisis has had a massive strain on everyone’s wallets, and our Boot Exchange aims to help parents and carers keep up with kids’ ever-growing feet, without breaking the bank. Maidenhead United were kind enough to donate boots from across the Youth Teams, to kickstart our scheme.
We have now had over 50 pairs of football boots donated, given away over 20 pairs and swapped at least 10 pairs of boots. So far, that means at least 30 children can now play football where they previously may not have been able to.
Our Boot Exchange with Maidenhead United has led to even more community-focused initiatives, including our Christmas FoodShare collection. We look forward to working with everyone at Maidenhead United on future projects for the good of our town.
We’re incredibly proud to be working together as a force for good in our community. Together, we are helping local families with a fun and sustainable scheme that makes sure everyone who wants to play football can get out on the pitch and be United as One!
