CALM Partnership extended for another year!
Posted on 2nd August 2024
Maidenhead United FC’s key objective and ethos has always been to make a positive difference to all members of our community by ensuring they remain connected to one another.
For the 2024/25 season we are delighted to have renewed our partnership with the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) charity, with the objective of running on-going campaigns and activities to support the prevention of suicide.
This initiative has only been enabled by the generous support of 9 partner organisations, which will join the club in a coalition of CALM supporters. We were delighted to welcome them to the club on Tuesday evening at our pre-season friendly where they could see the new CALM signage for this season and the new kit.
This season the CALM partnership will enable the Campaign Against Living Miserably Logo to be put onto the Front of Shirt of not just the 1st men’s team but every Maidenhead United FC Team including:
Women's 1st & Development teams
Our U19 & U16 Academy teams
Our Maidenhead United FC Juniors teams (last season we had 59 Junior Teams)
Our new Maidenhead United Performance Teams (4 teams for 24/25 season)
Our Men’s & Women’s Walking Football Teams.

Sian Lancaster, Commercial Partnership Manger commented, “We have seen that we are making a difference and through our continued activations and campaigns this season, we can continue to let people know that help is out there. That it is important to encourage all to talk and ask for help. No one should feel alone, struggle or live miserably. This initiative and continued partnership with CALM has only been possible by the generous support from nine businesses, who we would like to thank"
The BA Partnership, Off the Tap, Wilson Partners, Shanly Foundation, myHRdept, HUB, Smedvig, Maidenhead Advertiser, G&L Healthcare Advisors.
Calm commented;
We’re delighted that the club will continue to work with us and promote all of CALM’s efforts for another season. Most importantly we get to build on the good work from last year and support even more people living less miserably. There’s a lot we can do in the area alongside Maidenhead United FC and we can’t wait.
