Maidenhead United Development – already through to the semi-final of the Berks & Bucks FA Sunday Trophy – are back on the silverware trail on Sunday when they host Billericay Town at Cox Green Leisure Centre in the FA Women’s National League Plate Quarter Final. Team captain Chloe Matmuja said: “We know what to expect from Billericay, they are a well-disciplined tier 3 development side and are going to want it as much as we do.”

Matmuja has been an integral part of Ryan Robinson’s side again this campaign, and, at 20, she is already one of the more experienced players in the team. She added: “I’m really looking forward to the game this weekend. I think the girls have shown their efforts and character over the past few weeks in both matches and training, which has shown in our ongoing cup runs at the moment. On a personal level, it means a lot being able to captain the team this season, seeing how far we have come as a group. Since the Development side was created only last season there has been so much progress so far and there is plenty more to come.”

The First Team meanwhile – who were without a game last weekend - will travel to Worthing in a FAWNL Division 1 South West fixture (3pm) looking to maintain their fine form.
