January can be a financially difficult time for millions of people across the UK.

According to a YouGov survey, 43% of people say January is the worst month of the year for their finances. This can be attributed to a plethora of factors; an expensive December due to Christmas; an early pay cheque before the festive period begins; and rising bills and costs during the cold winter months.

At Maidenhead United, we recognise the challenges January can bring for our community. We want to ensure everyone connected with our club has access to the resources they need during a financially difficult time of the year.

Our valued partners, the Campaign Against Living Miserably, have a number of resources available to people in need of support which we will continue to share across social media channels throughout January.

In addition, we are also pleased to offer Gold and Silver Members free entry to our National League Cup fixture on Tuesday, 28th January. Supporters who do not possess a membership can still benefit from our Football for a Fiver initiative.

Lastly, we want to inform supporters of MUFC Rewards – our specialised programme to help save you money and earn cashback 365 days a year. Over the coming days, we will be releasing tutorial guides on how you, your friends and family can save money and earn cashback at local businesses and national retailers. Keep an eye on our social media channels for more information!
