Football for a Fiver Returns for Non-League Day
Posted on 5th March 2025
Non-League Day is back for 2025, and we are looking forward to welcoming Rochdale AFC to York Road for this year’s celebrations.
Non-League Day was set up by James Doe in 2010 as a social media experiment, after being inspired by a pre-season trip to Devon to watch Queens Park Rangers play at Tavistock. It has now grown to become an annual part of the football calendar, backed by Premier League and Football League clubs, MPs, celebrities, media organisations, charities and most importantly the non-league clubs themselves and the fans who turn up on the day.
This year’s Non-League Day takes place during the international break on Saturday, 22nd March. With Premier League and Championship clubs out of action, we are looking forward to making this the largest ever Non-League Day at York Road.
As part of the festivities, we are thrilled to announce that our Football for a Fiver initiative is back for this fixture. All supporters can benefit from £5 entry for all tickets purchased prior to 1pm on matchday, while U17s are eligible for free admission (U16s must be accompanied by an adult).
Furthermore, we are delighted to reveal that local duo JPR Music will be performing both before and after the match outside Stripes Sports Bar. The Berkshire-based two-pieced band will be performing the hottest pop hits from every decade since the 1950s.
We will have more exciting news to share over the coming days, so make sure to follow Maidenhead United across social media, or sign up to our newsletter to ensure you don’t miss out!
