Maidenhead United was saddened to learn the news of the recent passing of Kath Heath at the age of only 34.
During her time as a player, Kath played for a number of Maidenhead United Women FC's FAWNL rivals and most recently played her football with AFC Totton. Kath was also a keen Futsal player, most recently with Southampton Aztecs. Previously, Kath had been part of the Reading Royals Futsal club which transitioned to become part of the Maidenhead United FC family in 2023. Kath was therefore one of the first players to represent MUFC at Futsal.
Maidenhead United has Kath's family, friends and playing colleagues past and present firmly in their thoughts at this sad time.
At tonight's Enterprise National League South encounter between AFC Totton and Maidenhead United tribute will be paid to Kath by two of the clubs she represented with a minute's applause.
