Maidenhead United offers its congratulations to all connected to the club who have been nominated for the 2026 Berkshire Football Awards.
The annual ceremony, held at Double Barrelled Brewery in Reading on Wednesday, 10th June, recognises the contributions made to the beautiful game by dedicated individuals and teams across Berkshire.
Both our senior team managers have been recognised this year, with Ryan Peters and Dave Kitson nominated for the men’s and women’s manager of the season awards respectively. Each manager also has representatives from their playing sides, with Liam Dulson nominated for men’s player of the season and Aaliyah Charles picking up a nomination in the female player of the season category.
Three young Magpies have made the longlist for Young Player of the Season (Female). Liberty Dieppe and Molly McKeever, both key contributors to Kitson’s record-breaking Magpies throughout 2025/26. MUFC Academy prospect Ruby Huggins is also honoured after a fantastic season as part of Brian Harris’ U19s.
There’s further female success for United with Klaudia Owczarek recognised in the physio of the year category, while Kenny Clarke has been nominated in the Best Individual Event bracket for her winning penalty in the Berks and Bucks County Cup semi-final! Kenny will face stiff competition, with the club’s Retro Day fixture against Hampton & Richmond also in contention for the same award.
It’s a good showing for United’s media talents with Neil Maskell and Steve Jinman longlisted in the best football writer category. Club photographer Darren Woolley has also earned a spot for photographer of the year.
Last but by no means least, Somerset Magpie JJ Crosby, a familiar face at men’s and women’s fixture, has been nominated for Supporter of the Season.
The shortlist will be revealed at around 2pm on Monday, 18th May, with tickets available shortly afterwards. Please follow the link below for the full longlist and further information.
