UNITED AS ONE 
 
It was a successful evening at the Football in Berkshire awards night for Maidenhead United Football Club hosted at the Double-Barrelled Brewery in Reading picking up a number of awards. 
 
We would like to thank Football in Berkshire for a great evening and congratulate the following on winning awards on behalf of the club. 
 
Volunteer of the Year – Tanya Davis-Hussain 
Physio of the Year – Finley Ward 
Female Player of the Season – Simone O’Brien 
Manager of the Season (Women’s) – Ed Jackson-Norris 
 
Congratulations also are due to those who made the short-list for their respective nominations. Ashlee Withers and Natasha Rasmussen were runners-up in the Young Female Player of the Season to ex-Magpie and England Under 19 international Eve Annets. 
 
In the Female Player of the season category, Cristina Sarmiento had a magnificent season in goal for Maidenhead United Futsal and was only beaten to the main award by Simone, whilst the Futsal arm of the club were further commended as Fernando Silva was named runner-up to Tanya in the Volunteer of the Season category. 
 
‘One of our own’ Reece Smith also finished in the top four in both the Goal of the Season and Male Player of the Season category.
