Maidenhead United make a second trip to Somerset in October, this time to face Yeovil Town the Vanarama National League. 

 

This weekend’s visit marks the first trip to Huish Park in two years as the Glovers spent a successful 2023/24 campaign in the National League South. 

 

United are on an unbeaten run of eight games across all competitions, and will be looking to extend that run ahead of next week’s Emirates FA Cup tie at home to Crawley Town. Yeovil, meanwhile, have enjoyed a mixed run of form since a disappointing September. 

 

The two sides are separated by nine places but only six points, and history suggests it could be an interesting encounter on Saturday afternoon. Yeovil have never beaten United in the two sides’ previous seven matches in the Vanarama National League, with the Magpies emerging victorious on three of those occasions.
