Maidenhead United Women will begin a new era with a visit to The Nigel Eady County Ground, SN1 2ED on Sunday 17th August in a 2pm kick off against a Swindon Town side who finished third in the FA Women’s National League Division 1 South West table last season and who will no doubt fancy their chances of challenging for promotion in 2025/26.
The corresponding fixture at the same venue last season saw Ed Jackson-Norris’s side go toe-to-toe with the Wiltshire side for an hour before succumbing to five goals in the final thirty minutes to give the hosts a 6-0 victory to make it five wins from five at the start of the 2024/25 season. Dave Kitson’s new look side will no doubt be relishing the opportunity to play at an EFL ground as they kickstart their campaign.
