Versatile Maidenhead United Women midfielder Aleasha Lunn raised more than £1,500 for the Campaign Against Living Miserably last week by embarking on a twelve-hour marathon live stream. The 20 year-old is a keen gamer who enjoys interacting with her subscribers and between the games she embarked on a series of fun challenges and belted out a number of karaoke classics with the aim of raising awareness of and funds for Maidenhead United’s front-of-shirt partners, the mental-health charity which runs a free, confidential and anonymous helpline as well as a web chat service, offering help, advice and information to anyone who is struggling or in crisis.

Aleasha – part of United’s Combined Counties League Women’s Cup winning side back in May – admitted: “Lots of streamers in my community have done things for CALM in the past and having the charity involved with Maidenhead United certainly means a lot more to me.”
