Born on 6th February 1936, Colin lived in Maidenhead all his life and played football for Maidenhead United. Between 1955 and 1964, Colin made 81 known appearances for the Maidenhead United reserve team, scoring 6 goals. In 1962/63, Colin was a regular member of the reserve team which came close to winning a ‘double’ – winning the Corinthian League reserve section and becoming Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup runners-up.
