Maidenhead start pre-season with a 6-0 win over local neighbours Holyport
It was a perfect start for the Magpies after Reece Smith worked the ball well down the left, he squared a pass to Tobi Sho-Silva who gave Maidenhead the lead inside five minutes.

Maidenhead continued to control the game playing good football, Joseph Ajose teed up Ruben Carvalho who was unable to keep his effort on-target.

Some more tricky footwork from Ajose once again created an opportunity, his delivery into the box fell to Smith whose effort skimmed the crossbar. Moments later Ajose was provider for a third time after his corner fell to Kevin Lokko who clipped the post.

The Ports created a great opportunity from a corner forcing Craig Ross into a magnificent save.

HALF-TIME: Holyport 0-1 Maidenhead United

Christian Johnson doubled Maidenhead’s advantage early in the second half after shrugging off a defender and slotting past Chapman in goal.

Tristan Abrahams was next to strike towards the Holyport net but blazed his effort way over the bar. Abrahams converted second time round moments later and slotted convincingly past Chapman to make it 3-0.

New signing Nathan Ferguson made it four shortly after with a magnificent strike from distance.

Goals kept coming for the Magpies with Jayden Mitchell-Lawson the next to get on the scoresheet converting at the back post. Abrahams scored our sixth a minute later with a strike from distance.
