Maidenhead United’s Marketing and Media Manager Shay Bottomley is hanging up his club microphone as he moves on to new opportunities.
Shay has spent the past two years with the club, managing our communications across our digital channels, team and match news and media relations.
His time at the club has included everything from a matchday link-up with Juventus and our high-profile fixture against Wolves, to shining a spotlight on the wider community impact of the club’s work.
MUFC Chief Executive Jon Adams said: “We would like to thank Shay for his time with the club. Our work, from community activity to junior football, is varied, and effective communication is an important part of keeping our supporters and wider community connected with everything we do. As a long-time supporter, I’m sure Shay will be doing plenty of his own communications from the terrace on matchday. We wish him all the best with his future ventures."
Scott Hargreaves, who many supporters will know from our matchday coverage, will continue to develop the club’s communications, keeping fans and the wider community up to date with our work.
