The MUFC Walking Football Women started their Autumn/Winter season on Sunday 7th September.

Game 1 vs Denham - Won 1-0. The ladies settle into the game quickly and dominated the play, some good movement which led to a well crafted goal by Lin.

Next up, South Reading, Won 2-0. Very good play all round as a team, with good positional play and a well taken goal by Lin and a penalty converted by Smirf.

Next up, Oxford - lost 1-0. A change to personal but generally some good play, a lack of concentration on a free kick led to the only goal.

4th game, Woking Famingos - Draw. Up against some familiar faces another lack in concentration from a free kick led to the first goal, the ladies rallied around and Lin got a deserved equaliser.

Last game, Hersham - Won 1-0. Up against a well-drilled team Maidenhead pressed high and did not give them much space to play in. Some good pressing led to a penalty, Smirf up against an England Goal keeper blasted it home.

Player-Manager Smirf beamed: "All in all a great set of games with some great team work. Top of the league! Well done ladies."
