Two lucky Magpies have won themselves a signed ball and a family ticket to a Maidenhead United men’s team game thanks to a competition from Howden Maidenhead.

Howden – who also coordinate the boot exchange programme in partnership with the club - were matchday sponsors for our encounter against Woking on Good Friday, providing Easter chocolate goodies, fun activities in the Cage, and a prize draw – all while supporting the Maidenhead-based Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service.

As part of the draw, George and Koen won a matchday football signed by the men’s first team players, and a family ticket to a game of their choice at York Road next season.

Craig Warburton, Branch Manager at Howden Maidenhead said: “We always love to get involved with Maidenhead United FC and recently had the joy of sponsoring one of their match days as part of our partnership with them and the local community. It was a pleasure to welcome our competition winners George, Koen and their families into the branch, and present them with their prizes!

“We’re incredibly proud to work closely with Maidenhead United FC, teaming up for the last two years to be a force for good in our community. Together, we help local families with a fun and sustainable boot exchange scheme that makes sure everyone who wants to play football can get out on the pitch and be United as One – pop into our high street branch to learn more.”
