Maidenhead United are delighted to welcome striker Connor Hall to York Road.
Arriving from Brackley Town, Connor was an integral part of The Saints promotion to the National League in 2025. He scored 18 in 45 appearances that campaign, also turning provider on seven further occasions. In the January of the 2024/25 season, Connor’s performances were recognised by the League as he collected Player of the Month with six goals in five.
Very much a ‘fox in the box’, Connor's natural poacher’s instinct often places his in the right place at the right time to convert. In the air, on the swivel or firing in from inside the box, Connor is versatile in his finishing, but the constant is that he finds the net.
Following promotion, Connor’s role changed and was set to provide an impact off the bench as he scored six in 31 cameos. All while still keeping a strong minutes per goal ratio of just shy of a goal every 180 minutes.
Becoming Ryan Peters’ fourth incoming of the window, he said about Connor’s arrival: “Connor is a proven goal scorer, especially at this level.
“[He is] a player that has a point to prove and is chomping at the bit to get started. If we can provide service, Connor will find the back of the net.”
Speaking after returning to his home county, Connor said: “It feels really good, I'm really excited. Delighted to actually sign here and hopefully play a part in a good season.
"It's a local club for me, growing up in Bracknell. So yeah, I've always kept an eye on Maidenhead as I was going through my football journey."
"To be honest, I had a meeting with the gaffer a couple of weeks ago and it went really well. I really enjoyed it and I liked the way he spoke - him and Aaron. Just after speaking with them, I was like 'right, if I get to do it, this is where I want to be.'"
Looking ahead to getting into action, Connor said: "Yeah, it should be good. Obviously pre-season is always the hardest part of the season in terms of work rate so that in time for the season I'm as fit as I can be."
It won’t be long however until Connor does return to St James Park as we head there on the opening weekend of August to close out our pre-season preparations.
