Maidenhead United progressed through to the Quarter Finals of the Berks and Bucks Senior Cup in a 4-0 win over Winslow United.
A brace from Corie Andrews, and a goal apiece from Kai Yearn and Noah Stewart means United will host Reading in the last eight of the competition.
Andrews opened the scoring with only nine minutes on the clock, collecting a through ball from Owen Cochrane which bobbled up before he slammed home past Jake Stronge.
On the cusp of half-time, Andrews had his second goal as Stewart got his second assist. This time, the cross was perfectly placed for the striker to head home from close range, giving United a two-goal advantage heading into the break.
The Magpies’ progression was solidified when Yearn fired home a beautiful strike just before the hour mark. Stewart once again with the assist, this time to the edge of the penalty area which Yearn smashed past Stronge to make the scoreline 3-0.
After a brace of assists, Stewart had a goal of his own with 20 minutes to play. Returning the favour of fifteen minutes prior, Yearn played through the striker who tapped home his second goal for the club.
United will host Reading in the next round of the competition. Ticketing details and fixture information will be confirmed in due course.
