GEORGE ABBOTT 

 

A product of Brentford and Watford’s academies, George also represented Wales at youth level captaining the U15 and U19 sides. He also donned the armband for Watford’s youth teams, but loan moves would be where he’d secure his first taste of men’s football. He joined Chippenham Town for the early part of the 2023/24 season before switching towns and heading to Potters Bar to see the campaign out. He followed this up with a loan move to Hendon the following season, before heading back to a town he was starting to call home in Potters Bar. The 2025/26 season saw him venture abroad to Poland and Górnik Łęczna in the Betclic 1 Liga. He started the season strong, making 15 appearances prior to the winter break.
