Cochrane joined the Magpies on an initial loand deal in the summer of 2024, the move was later made permanent in the December. Having come through the ranks at Stevenage and even made his EFL League Two debut in December 2021 away to Salford City at just 17 years old. Before joining Maidenhead, the young fullback had spells at Potters Bar Town, Aveley and Kettering Town - helping him acclimatise to the Men's game.
