The Maidenhead United FC Community Trust has been awarded a grant of £25,000 by the National League Trust in support of our Maidenhead United in the Community – Engage programme.
The funding will support the delivery of a range of community events and activities between February 2023 and January 2024.
The Maidenhead United FC Community Trust has also been awarded a grant of £25,000 by the National League Trust to support the delivery of our Premier League Primary Stars programme between September 2023 and August 2024.
Through our Premier League Primary Stars project we work within a number of local primary schools to:
Deliver targeted Interventions in Maths, English and PSHE.
Support the development of classroom teachers with a PE Mentoring programme.
Deliver workshops focussing on the areas of Anti-Discrimination and Racism, Environment and Healthy Eating
The National League Trust is a partnership between the National League, the Premier League, and the Professional Footballers’ Association Charity.
The Premier League and the PFA Charity have committed to support the Trust until 2025. They will each contribute to a donation of £1.2m a year over this period. This allows the Trust to help National League member clubs develop their community programmes.”
