UNITED AS ONE

Maidenhead United x Campaign Against Living Miserably

A LOOK BACK...

Actor Ray Winstone was in attendance at the newly named Campaign Against Living Miserably Stadium on Saturday.

He joined us in the Alan Devonshire Suite along with our 2023/24 CALM partners and members of the Maidenhead Men's group.

The team secured victory over Kidderminster Harriers with a goal from our number 16, Casey Pettit, in the second-half.

An emotional moment and tribute to the 16 people who took their life each day in 2022.

16 branded t-shirts were placed over seats in the main stand to represent those lost to suicide, proving a powerful image in-line with CALM's messaging.

Our Women's team joined us on Saturday to support the Maidenhead United Community Trust's Wellbeing team in selling raffle tickets to raise vital funds for CALM and sharing information on how we support our local community.

Our weekly Wednesday social walk was CALM themed, encouraging conversations and promoting physical activity in the community.

The Kelme club shop showed their support by donating 10% of all profits to CALM with plenty of supporters purchasing Christmas gifts for friends and loved ones. A total of £96 was raised on the day by Kelme

Our Futsal team were in attendance to support the First Team and recorded a video message for social media during the week leading up to Saturday's match.

Collection boxes around the ground added to the fundraising efforts across the weekend.

On Sunday, Maidenhead United Women wore the CALM logo across bibs during their warm-ups for the match against Moneyfields and have continued to be vocal for the cause throughout the season.

Our 2023/24 CALM partners will be presented with a branded shirt signed by all members of the First Team squad as a thank you for their support in making this partnership possible.

Our weekly email newsletter sent to all of our 2023/24 members and any individual who has signed up to this website includes a note from CALM, shining the spotlight on a different theme of mental health each week.

WITH THANKS TO OUR CALM PARTNERS...
