UNITED AS ONE

Maidenhead United Women have the ideal opportunity to bounce back to form in their FA Women’s National League Plate Second Round tie this weekend, to be played at York Road on Sunday 10th December with a 2pm kick-off.

Their twice postponed tie with Division 1 Sout East strugglers Haywards Heath Town will allow Ed Jackson-Norris’s side to reach a quarter-final and this first York Road outing in more than two months will be FREE admission for all spectators. Jackson-Norris’s side have experienced a frustrating schedule of postponed away matches of late and will be glad to tread home turf again, where they have scored nineteen goals in just four outings this campaign.

The team will be delighted to receive any voluntary contributions of cash or card payments on the day to their ‘United As One Christmas Gift Appeal’ which will help to support local families this festive season.

United Women will help fundraise, shop, and deliver presents, using their connections with the Maidenhead United Community Trust Wellbeing team to identify families in need.
