UNITED AS ONE
Maidenhead United is pleased to announce the launch of Maidenhead United Futsal following the merger of Reading Royals Futsal into the Maidenhead United family.
Futsal is an exciting addition to the Maidenhead United family, offering fantastic opportunities for adult men and women to play competitive games in the national leagues and for youth players to experience this exciting sport.

The addition of futsal is part of Maidenhead United’s aspirations and endeavours to engage with the communities of Maidenhead and the surrounding areas and to support the growth and development of futsal in the Thames Valley/M4 Corridor.

The integration of Reading Royals Futsal into Maidenhead United means that we will hit the deck running with futsal, utilising the experience and expertise of the sport of futsal that the directors, coaches, and players of Reading Royals will bring.

For the upcoming 2023/24 season Maidenhead United Futsal will be running:
• an adult men’s team, competing in the highest league in the country as one of the top ten teams in England, in Tier 1 of the National Futsal Series (NFS)
• an adult women’s team that will play in the Women’s South league of the NFS
• an U18s male youth team that will play regularly at Tier 3 in a regional league of the National Futsal League.

We will also be establishing a youth development programme, creating both training and competition opportunities for girls and boys aged 8 to 16, which we intend to develop and grow as more young people become engaged with Futsal.

We are now looking for players, coaches, and volunteers. If you are ready to start your futsal journey, or looking for a new and exciting grassroots futsal club, please contact us at enquiries@maidenheadunitedfutsal.org. For further information visit www.maidenheadunitedfc.org

As a sport, futsal has grown greatly with participation at an all-time high and continuing to grow, with National Futsal Series (NFS) Tier 1 matches televised live on BT Sport.
