MATCH PREVIEW

In the dugout
Marc White is the founder, owner, chairman, and manager of Dorking Wanderers and has helped them achieve 12 promotions over 23 seasons with the Wanderers now entering their second season of National League football.

Players to watch
Marc White likes to play an attractive style of football which was seen last season with the Wanderers scoring 67 goals (the 7th best in the National League) because of this, Dorking have a lot of attacking quality that Maidenhead United will need to be careful of. James McShane and Ryan Seager scored a combined 30 goals between them last season. Jason Prior has already picked up two this season following last week’s 4-3 defeat on the road to Chesterfield and will be one to watch.
Over the summer, Dorking Wanderers have brought in experienced League Two defender Tony Craig who had an illustrious career playing for the likes of Brentford, Millwall, Crystal Palace, and most recently Crawley Town. The central defender will be looking to impress on his debut at Meadowbank.
Last time out
The Magpies' one and only visit to Meadowbank came last season and was a day to forget losing 3-1. Jason Prior scored a goal either side of halftime to put the Wanderers into a comfortable lead, Josh Taylor put the result beyond doubt on the hour mark before Charlee Adams scored a late consolation goal from the penalty spot.

How to get there
Meadowbank is situated between three train stations in Dorking (Dorking, Dorking West, and Dorking Deepdene) all of which are a maximum fifteen-minute walk with trains available from London Waterloo, London Victoria as well as Reading for those travelling from Maidenhead.

For those driving, there are three car parks within walking distance of Meadowbank with the closest being St Martins Car Park (RH4 1DX) which is opposite the stadium. Both Southside Car Park (RH4 1AE) and Wathen Road Car Park (RH4 1YA) are a maximum ten-minute walk to Meadowbank. All three car parks use RingGo to pay and are therefore cashless with payment taken over the phone.
