UNITED AS ONE
All at Maidenhead United were saddened to hear of the passing earlier this week of long-time Magpies supporter Phil Radjuschko.

Phil was a regular and friendly face at home and away fixtures who has been described as “a stalwart support of Maidenhead United and MUSA”. He will be missed at the club. One of Phil’s other passions in life was music and he helped run mobile disco ‘All Kinds Of Music’ which played all sorts of gigs, ranging from Christmas parties and wedding anniversaries to birthday parties with his encyclopedic knowledge of artists and their back catalogues.

Magpies Director, Steve Jinman, commented:

“Phil was the best kind of supporter any club could want. He was always ready for a chat and a kind word for everyone.

He was a long-time Maidenhead United supporter and I recall him telling me all about a memorable Amateur Cup tie in the 1960s when the Magpies travelled to play a Loughborough University which featured future Arsenal goalkeeper Bob Wilson.

On behalf of the club, we pass on our very best wishes to Phil’s wife Thelma, and to his son Chris who shares his father’s passion for Maidenhead United”.

The funeral of Phil Radjuschko will take place at Reading Crematorium, All Hallows Road, Caversham, Reading, RG4 5LP at 1pm on Friday 20th October 2023, followed by a wake at The Crown at Playhatch RG4 9QN.

All who knew Phil are welcome to attend.
