Maidenhead United FC is delighted to continue working with Wilson Partners and Fast Lane for 2023/24.
Jeremy Cuthbert, Wilson Partners Ltd., expressed:

"We have been a long-time supporter of Maidenhead United and this is a groundbreaking initiative. It's really different, it's something new and it's amazing to bring the local business community together for a really important charity."

Allan Wilson, Managing Director, Wilson Partners Ltd. explained:

"We’re really excited to be part of this ground-breaking initiative that gives CALM much-needed exposure both in our local community and on a wider scale.

The aim, ultimately is to prevent people from suffering in silence and help many people and their families get the help they need when they need it.

And at a time when external pressures are having an impact on our community and society as a whole."

When speaking on their involvement in the partnership, Andy Turner, Managing Director at Fast Lane, expressed:

“Fast Lane is once again delighted to be involved with Maidenhead United for all the great work within our community, this time teaming up with CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably). CALM is such a great initiative of help and resources in taking a stand against suicide, especially now at a time in the UK when many are struggling. No one deserves to live miserably, and we are determined as a business that no one does. Standing up to stereotypes and standing together with CALM to show life is always worth living, is such a great cause.

Fast Lane is the proud sponsor for all Women’s Football at Maidenhead United, and is a part of the club’s “United as ONE” initiative in support of CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).”

Fast Lane operates globally to deliver technology, business, and sales training on behalf of the leading technology providers such as Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, and VMware to name but a few.

Sian Lancaster, Commercial Partnership Manager at Maidenhead United, spoke on both partners:

We are delighted that Fast Lane have expanded their involvement with the club to not only provide valuable support for our women’s and girls' team but to also be part of our new CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) initiative.

Similarly, Wilson Partners, who are another one of our new CALM partners, share our passion for supporting our Maidenhead United in the Community programme, where we deliver sessions to over 2500 children every week and supported our drive to engage with the Business Community too, have extended their passion further in supporting us to continue making a difference to the community.

We are excited about the forthcoming months ahead as we work together with both Wilson Partners and Fast Lane, along with the other 9 CALM partners to create awareness of the charity CALM within the local community by running ongoing campaigns and activities to support the prevention of suicide, particularly amongst men within our community. These activities along with our other community initiatives will ensure we continue to make a positive difference to all members of our community ensuring they feel connected to one another. No one should feel alone and we are thankful to both Fast Lane and Wilson Partners for sharing the same values as us.
